Armenia - Is officially known as the Republic of Armenia and was once part of the former Soviet Union. Armenia is an Asian Country and is completely surrounded by other countries which means it has no port of sea. Armenia shares borders with Iran, Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan. Armenia is a very mountainous country between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. Armenia re-established its independence in 1991 after break up of the Soviet Union. As of 2008 Armenia has risen to become the 28th most economically free nation in the world. Gas and oil are Armenia's main exports through routes by Iran and Georgia.
